| A group of students with perceived self esteem issues are given the opportunity to make a short movie as a team. The project was aimed at giving the students a chance for self expression and to use technology to raise and explore issues common to many at their school. | Trans-active is a project in which teenagers with and without severe learning disabilities work together. They use multimedia to explore and communicate choices they will have when they leave school. The project is about using and giving support, making plans, making friends and having fun. This is an exciting project that teaches students from Bristol schools about the value of good citizenship. Groups from City Academy, St Mary Redcliff, St Thomas More and Whitefield Fishponds schools have been trained to use digital camcorders in order to produce videos about their own communities.
